Happy Tuesday!

I only have one outfit to share today.  I am failing at this pretty miserably!

Now...on to some funny stuffs....

I started Couch to 5K yesterday, FINALLY.  You can see my excuses below.

Me and my friends last week after I decided to drink rather than start Couch to 5K

Here were my excuses:

It's weird to start anything on a Wednesday

I didn't have groceries so I couldn't start a diet

We were having friends over for fried deer meat on Saturday

All valid but not valid excuses

Me after a few glasses of wine.

Who cares about working out.  I'm a princess!

Me the next morning on my way to work.

I am so not a princess.  Princesses don't have to work.

You would never hear me utter those words.

Because all I can do in Yoga is toot at an unexpected time.

Me when someone tells me "I love to workout!"

Crazies!

 Me on just about any Sunday.

I can't get up to pee but you say breakfast and I'm doing jumping jacks.

Me when I'm at the gym working out with all those skinny bitches girls.

Great form, no?

Me when I try to do any of those fancy workout videos.

How I was ever in drill team or a cheerleader I'll never know.

I can barely walk without falling.

How I walk when I'm at the grocery store in my work out clothes and have ACTUALLY worked out.

Hi Ya'll and Happy Tuesday!!

I have three outfits to share with ya'll today! 

So let's get started....

You can't really tell but the tights are gray.  The dress isn't something I would have normally put a cardi over but it turned out pretty cute!

I did a "Before/After" of my eye brows on Instagram

This was the second try b/c the first time my eyebrows were WACK! 

(a good friend said "uhm are you being serious w/ your eye brows right now. ha!  Love my friends!)

I need to shape them like majorly!

I think I'm going to try it this week!  Does anyone else shape their own?

But holy heck...eye brows make a HUGE difference!  Right?

I had a special request from my cousin + Made of Honor, Jennifer to put her on my blog.  She said she's been inspired to try new things because of my post...and Pinterest, too!

Jeans - She didn't say. I'm gonna guess they're  Miss Me?  I know she likes that brand.

She did say that the totaly outfit was under $30...

but I spy a Louis Vuitton on her arm and I'm calling BS! ;) ha!

How cute is she? 

She's my cousin but we grew up like sisters. 

She's the only person, besides The Fiance that I can live with and it be civil for over a year! :)

She teaches Kindergarten. 

I visited her class one day.  Holy moly, teachers are truly special gifts from God.

Tuesday's Threads

Hi Ya'll! 

Happy Tuesday!  Only 4 days left..... ;)

I managed to take 3 outfit pictures this week! Yay!  Go me! Two of them are great outfits that can go from day to night! Which is great if you are meeting the girls for happy hour or your honey for a date night!

We finally got a cold front here in Texas so I was able to pull out my fall wardrobe!  FINALLY!  I hear that we're supposed to be back in the 80's by the end of this week.  Seriously?  It's almost November, Texas, in case you haven't noticed!

I got this mustard yellow cardi last fall before a trip to NYC

and it hasn't let me down! 

I can pair it with SO many different things!

 I love pairing chunky necklaces with cardigans! 

They make a great "statement" piece!

  I love these shoes! 

 They're a little sexy but still professional!

I have been searching and searching and searching

 for some light brown boots and my fat calves

 prevented me from buying every pair I loved! 

I tried these on and to my amazement and joy they fit!

Tuesday's Threads

Hi Ya'll!!

Well...my goal to get up and get ready + take pictures everyday hasn't gone so great.  I'm not a morning person.  At. all.  I just do not want to get out of the bed.  But, I do have some outfits for ya'll!!  :)  Two of them are actually from this weekend and one is what I'm wearing today. 

I want to put a disclaimer out there about my pictures....the quality sucks, big time!  I need a new camera and my camera on my phone is crappy.  I have an iPhone 4 but it takes really grainey/smokey looking pictures and I've never understood why because everyone else that has one get's great, clear pictures.  Oh well, I'm upgarding to the iPhone 5 in December! 

On to the outfits!!  First Up...is what I'm wearing today. 

Top & Sweater-Target, Pants-Ross,

 I absolutely LOVE these shoes. 

They go with everything and are very comfy! 

One thing I'll splurge a little on is shoes. 

My hair is in a big bun on my head. 

It's great for 2nd or 3rd day hair.

(As in, haven't washed it in 2 or 3 days)

Second Up...wore out on Saturday night for a few drinks with my Honey.

I freaking love this shirt.

But after second glance it's probably not my most flattering outfit!

Third...

I wore this dress OUT this summer! 

It is very flattering and super comfy! 

I wore it to the State Fair of Texas this past weekend and paired it with my cowboy boots,

 which happen to be the most comfy shoes I own! 

Cowboy boots are a staple for any Texas gal!

Tuesday's Threads

Hi ya'll! 

So I decided that I am going to try and start doing a few "fashion" posts a week. 

For these five reasons:

1. To motivate myself to look decent at work every day.
2. To force myself to come to terms with where I am with my weight - good or bad.
3. To find "new" outfits in my existing closet.
4. To show people that you can be fashionable with out giving up your right arm and leg.
5. To hopefully inspire and give ideas to other working "curvy" girls.

Now, with all that said, let me make it clear, I do not consider myself a "fashionista".  If you would have told me that 10 years ago I would have laughed in your face.  But somewhere between skinny and fat I quit caring.  Granted, I don't walk around in an over sized tweety bird shirt and baggy sweats but I also have found myself in a "rut" of wearing the same 5 things to work every week because they're "easy."  But I refuse to do that any more!  I have discovered that when I dress nice my whole outlook on the day is better. I am a nicer person, I make nicer food choices and I might even re-apply my lipstick more than once! 

Even though I have been in a "rut" my shopping habits haven't slowed down...but they have changed.  They went from "oh, I need those Citizen jeans" and "my work pants must be from Express" to "Have ya'll ever tried Old Navy's skinny jeans?  Man, they are awesome!" or "Ya'll will never believe where I got these work pants, WAL-MART and you can wash and dry them at home!!!"  I'll say, if anything positive has come from me gaining weight it would be that I've learned how to care less about labels and more about saving.  I mean, really, people, who would I be kidding getting out of my Kia Sportage in Seven jeans and a Louis Vuitton purse?  NO. ONE.  It would only scream "bought it on credit!"  So I discovered my favorite store. ever- ROSS!  No, I'm not a "Maxinista", they're too pricey for my taste.  Ross is hands down the greatest store, ever!  I'm warning you now...there will more than likely be something from Ross in every one of my outfit posts.  I suggest you find a good Ross near you, because, ladies, if you haven't, you don't know what you're missing!  NOTE:  I said good Ross.  There are some questionable ones but you find a good one and you're set!

On to today's outfit!

 Pants: ROSS - $12

I love this necklace but it always wants to cup one boob.

 I'm in major need of a full length mirror! 

I'll be going to Wal-Mart for one tonight!

Shoes: Target - $15

 There's my outfit for today!  So, do ya'll think I should keep it up?  I do!  :)  Be on the lookout for a new "Rossome" look soon!  "ROSSOME=Ross + Awesome" BOOM!  You heard it here first, ladies! Actually, I totaly stole it but I'm going with it for now.
